Psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Munich, Germany
MY AREAS OF FOCUS
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that helps patients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors to improve emotional well-being and address issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress. The "third wave" of CBT integrates mindfulness frameworks and practices.
BODY-ORIENTED PSYCHOTHERAPY
Body-oriented psychotherapy integrates body awareness with talk therapy to process emotions, release tension, and heal trauma or stress. It encompasses methods like Bioenergetic Analysis (Lowen), Pesso Therapy (PBSP; Pesso), and Somatic Experiencing (Levine), used both in and out of sessions. Unlike CBT, it emphasizes psychodynamic elements such as relationship, past bonding, internal conflicts, and structural integration. It shares a strong connection with mindfulness, focusing on holistic healing through body-mind integration.
COUPLE THERAPY
Couples therapy is a collaborative process where partners work with a therapist to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationship by addressing emotional and behavioral patterns. In my work with couples, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), systemic methods, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the Gottman Method, and the work of Esther Perel. I find working with couples extremely interesting and rewarding.
COACHING
Coaching is a supportive, action-oriented process that empowers individuals to set and achieve personal or professional goals through tailored strategies, accountability, and skill-building. Typical topics in coaching include:

- Career Development, Business and Entrepreneurship
- Personal Growth
- Relationships: Strengthening communication skills, resolving conflicts, or enhancing interpersonal connections.
- Health and Wellness: Adopting healthy habits, managing stress, or achieving fitness goals.
- Life Transitions: Managing major changes like relocation, retirement, or parenthood.
MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness is a practice that fosters present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance, reducing stress and enhancing mental clarity through techniques like meditation and mindful breathing. Supported by extensive scientific evidence, mindfulness positively impacts physical and mental health. It encompasses diverse schools of thought and practices, allowing for a tailored approach developed in collaboration with the client to meet their specific needs. I personally practice Zen Meditation daily.
DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT OF AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD) iN ADULTS
Autism is clinically characterized by difficulties in social communication, and by restrictive and repetitive behaviors. These normally appear early in life due to developmental pathophysiology. Most autistic people are diagnosed during childhood. However, the presence of milder autistic traits, the tendency to mask or hide these traits, known as camouflaging, a misdiagnosed or co-occurring psychiatric condition, and various other sociocultural and socioeconomic factors can delay diagnosis until adulthood. Autism assessment in adults presents unique and intertwined challenges. Assessment through a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) is presently the gold standard of diagnostics. I offer a first clinical assessment in 50 to 100 minutes, that can help either supporting or dismissing the clinical suspect.
